From grant writing to handling a variety of conflict types, participants will receive "effective practice" approaches to a wide range of management issues.

Course objectives:
- Describe your role as a tribal probation supervisor
- Outline steps for identifying, applying for, and obtaining grants and managing budgets for a Tribal Probation agency
- Discuss the importance of estbalishing a defined process for recruitment, hiring and initial training for staff
- Explain three ways of providing ongoing training and professional development for you and your agency
- List three key elements of the supervisor's role in case planning
- Diagram a process for handling conflict between officers and the Tribal Council/Court
