Subject Matter Expert: Margaret Skoog, RN
Ms. Skoog credentials include schooling for practical nursing at Lake Area Technical College and receiving her LPN after state boards. She received her AA degree from the University of South Dakota in Nursing which qualified her to take RN state boards. She received a BS in Nursing from Mount Marty College. She was employed at Milbank Area Hospital-Avera Health, South Dakota, staff and charge nurse, for 26 years. At Wilmot Care Center, South Dakota she was a charge nurse, for 28 years. She worked at Universal Pediatrics for 2 years. She worked for the Corrections Corporation of America, in Appleton, Minnesota as staff and charge nurse for 7 years. She was also the camp nurse for the South Dakota Wildlife Federation’s Youth Conservation Camp for 17 years. She was the Grant County South Dakota Bloodmobile Coordinator for the American Red Cross for 21 years. She also provided home end-of-life care for maternal grandparents, two husbands, mother-in-law, and father. Previous BA, Home Economics Education, Westmar College, LeMars, Iowa.

Mrs. Cobb is a Lead SME Writer/Trainer at Relias. Her primary writing responsibilities are in the content areas of public safety and behavioral health.
