Externalizing and Disruptive Behavior Disorders in Children and Adolescents

Many clinicians encounter children and adolescents who have externalizing disorders and may require support and intervention to help them and their families improve functioning and well-being.This course will provide information about several evidence-based interventions that could help you assist youth and families that are struggling with the impact of externalizing disorders. It will also discuss mitigating factors such as trauma history and how this could impact treatment strategies.

The goal of this course is to provide behavioral health counselors, marriage and family therapists, psychologists, and social workers in health and human service settings, with skills for identifying and treating externalizing disorders.
